Desert Rose Health Initiative, a Nonprofit, Charitable Organization believes everyone should have access to basic needs, including a Healthcare Kit. With your help, we are launching our initial distribution of Healthcare Kits to those in need.
Founder, Isabella Jones has an interest in pursuing a future in the healthcare industry. Currently, a Senior on the pre-med track at Tulane University, she earned her license as an EMT, volunteered in the Emergency Room at Touro Hospital in New Orleans and her long term interest in good health is evident in her lifestyle choices.
Volunteering at other Nonprofits who are focused on serving underserved populations also piqued her interest in distributing free healthcare products to historically marginalized communities.
Grateful to her University, Isabella was also the 2025 Winner of the Tulane University Fran and Mark Berg Public Service Scholarship as well as the Tulane Felson Service Fund Grant to assist in the distribution of Healthcare kits.
Open to rising Sophmores, Juniors and Seniors, Tulane University's Fran and Mark Berg Public Service Award provides a one-year scholarship to at least one or more Tulane University rising junior or senior who has shown significant commitment to community engagement activities and has an interest in working in a public service or social service occupation after graduation. Isabella proudly accepted the $5000 award to further her education in the health field.
